Linkbait Bullshit from TUAW

TUAW's headline:

Microsoft's going to make it pricier to bring your iOS device to work

but, later in the article:

It should be noted that the higher price also pertains to Windows phones and laptops and Surface tablets.

I'm not going to link to the story, because I don't link to baited headlines.

The fact is, Microsoft is hurting in the enterprise because of the tremendous number of iPhones, Android phones, and iPads being used in BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) business environments, so they have to raise the licensing fees for Microsoft Sharepoint and Exchange servers on every device to compensate.  To imply they're raising prices on iOS in your headline and write they're raising prices on everything in the fourth paragraph is just praying for clicks.

The Fixer

Eddy Cue, the new sheriff in Apple Town.

Apple Inc. (AAPL) has fired the manager responsible for its troubled mapping software, seeking to win back the trust of users disappointed after the program debuted in September, according to people familiar with the move.

James Bond is a Time Lord.

If you are a 007 fan, as I am, and a Dr. Who fan, as I am, Alan Gratz has something you need to hear.

One Bond. Many incarnations. James Bond is a Time Lord.

I think we can all agree this is the only logical analysis.

(Spoilers for Skyfall in the link...)

Douche Bag.

Is "douche bag" one word or two?  Either way, Paul Ryan fits the bill.

Ryan had stopped by the soup kitchen for about 15 minutes on his way to the airport after his Saturday morning town hall in Youngstown. By the time he arrived, the food had already been served, the patrons had left, and the hall had been cleaned.

Religious "Freedom"?

Valerie Hodges, a Republican State Representative from Louisiana, apparently thinks "religion" means "Christianity". Someone should tweet her that there are lots of religions.

She was all for Gov. Jindal's vouchers for religious or private education, until she found out the vouchers could be used for Muslim schools as well.

I do not support using public funds for teaching Islam anywhere here in Louisiana.

Some people are so self-centered that they don't even notice the world is revolving around them.

Wait... Scratch that, reverse it.
