Times, They Are A Changin'

Starting last week, HGTV has moved Don't Sweat It to 11:30 AM e/p on Saturday mornings. To be honest, at first, I was worried. That seems a little late in the day to still be watching morning TV, but I couldn't be more wrong.

Since the move, our ratings have jumped 30%! We're now averaging over 3 million viewers a week!!

On a related note, HGTV is also showing reruns of DSI on Thurday mornings at 8:30 e/p. We're shooting our 100th episode next week, and we're looking forward to many more.

Almost There! 100 Episodes!

That's right, folks. We're just a little over a week away from number 100! We're doing something a little different for the centennial, but I can't tell you what it is. Just know it's not the normal "two homeowners, two hosts" kind of thing we've been doing for the last few dozen episodes. We're doing some super-fun projects for some exceptional people who really deserve it.

I'm not giving anything away until the show airs, but I'll be posting a few non-disclosure type sneak peeks on my Twitter account while we're knee deep in renovations.

Don't Sweat It 8!

It's finally time! I'll be heading out to LA LA Land January 10 to start looking at houses and projects for the next season of HGTV's Don't Sweat It. We're shooting season 8 from the first of February through the middle of March. It'll be nice to skip winter in New York! It's freakin' cold here right now...

And don't forget to watch DSI Saturday mornings on HGTV! And while you're at it, mark down Saturday nights with Dear Genevieve. I'll be showing up there soon!

Peter Pan, Take Two...

We're back in Branson, baby! Cathy Rigby and the cast of Peter Pan are back at the Mansion America Theater in Branson, and that means Jimmy is back in Branson, as well. We're flying to Neverland 8 times a week, so stop on by!

Peter Pan will be performing at the Mansion Theater from October 31-December 12.

Dear Genenvieve Season 3

During September and October, Jimmy will be shooting season 3 of HGTV's "Dear Genevieve"!

Dear Genevieve stars Genevieve Gorder, who accepts viewer's letters and solves their design problems in person.

Jimmy will be the lead carpenter on the first 7 episodes of the new season, which will air early 2010.

Cathy Rigby is Peter Pan

Jimmy will be spending the summer in Branson, MO flying Cathy Rigby in the Mansion Theater's production of Peter Pan. Once again, he's working with the best in the business, The Fly Guy Paul Rubin.
