Aaaannnd... We're back!

It's May, and we're back in the thick of it. Dear Genevieve starts shooting this week, and we're pushing through August to finish out Season 5.

Our first few episodes are right here in NYC! Most of the gang is coming back, but Jaime has moved on to other things. I will let her tell y'all what she's doing now, but we will all miss her!

Don't Sweat It, Season 9 In Full Effect

Don't Sweat It Season 9 is still going strong.  We've finished 5 episodes, then had a couple of weeks off so I could be a best man at a fantastic wedding down in Puerto Rico!  The wedding and the vacation were awesome, but now it's back to work.  

Did you notice that we changed back to the old graphics?  I'm happy we did.  The sparks-and-saws motif are really more of what the show is about.  The paint-splotches-and-swirls may work for some of those other shows, but not for me, and certainly not for Steve.

We have 8 more episodes of DSI to shoot here in NY/NJ, then I'm off to Branson again this summer to fly Cathy Rigby around in Peter Pan.

Also, just got some good news on the Dear Genevieve front - we'll be shooting season 4 this fall.

Times, They Are A Changin'

Starting last week, HGTV has moved Don't Sweat It to 11:30 AM e/p on Saturday mornings.  To be honest, at first, I was worried.  That seems a little late in the day to still be watching morning TV, but I couldn't be more wrong.  

Since the move, our ratings have jumped 30%!  We're now averaging over 3 million viewers a week!!  

On a related note, HGTV is also showing reruns of DSI on Thurday mornings at 8:30 e/p. We're shooting our 100th episode next week, and we're looking forward to many more.
